National Service Scheme The National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit of the Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST), Awantipora, Kashmir, has been officially approved by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India. This significant milestone was achieved through the Ministry’s communication No. F. No. 14/3/NSS/RDD/2023-24/20, dated 08-05-2023, which formally accords recognition and sanction to the NSS Unit at the University. This approval marks a new chapter in the University’s ongoing commitment to nation-building and community engagement through active student participation in voluntary service.
